I believe the Lemon Law applies only to new vehicles that have to be returned to the shop a number of times within the first six months of ownership. Selling a used car is completely different. One way to avoid having a buyer come back on you for repairs is to include in the sale a contract that enumerates any problems you know of with the car, and states you will not be responsible for the repair of these or any other defects. Make them sign it. Most used car sales are “as is”; the moment they take possession of a vehicle, it becomes their problem.
